Pricing, Deposit & Other Information

In order to be added to our waitlists, we require a $500 deposit. 

Although we do our best to keep our future pet parents informed as to what can be expected from each litter, including timing of the litter, coat colors etc., there are many factors that go into breeding and we can never tell how many males/females a particlar litter will produce. 

Deposits are non-refundable. However Salty Doodles does allow you the choice to transfer your deposit to another litter should you wish to wait for a specific color, sex, etc. 

We do note that on occassion litters do not get successfully bred, and wait times can change to be longer than originally anticipated. In these rare instances, we will offer the following options: (i) refund of your original deposit amount, (ii) the option to transfer your deposit to another litter, or (iii) we can hold the deposit for the next successful mating between said pair.

Once a litter has been born at Salty Doodles, all families that have placed a deposit will be contacted by phone or email. Therefore, it is important for families to keep their contact information up to date with us. 

Salty Doodles will provide weekly photo and video updates to our familes of all the puppies.

Once the puppies reach 5 to 6 weeks of age, we will collect individual photos and videos of each puppy. From there, we will contact the familes in the order of deposits received, and share the photos/videos so the families can make their decsion. We can use FaceTime should you prefer. 

We are always availabe to answer questions throughout the process. However, response times may vary depending upon the time of day and how many litters we are tending to at a given time. 

Puppies are available to go to their forever homes at 8 weeks of age. We work with familes ahead of time to coordinate a specific date and time for pick-up. With that said, if you are unable to keep your designated date and time or find yourself having to pass on a puppy, please let us know as soon as possible.

Your puppy will come with their first set of vaccinations, dewormings, and intial health check-up with our local vet. Dewclaws will be removed, if any. We will also include a little "goodie bag" which contains a puppy toy, transitional puppy food (we use Fromm), and a blanket with familiar scents to help with the transition. Salty Doodles also provides lifetime support - if you ever have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. 

The remaining balance for your puppy must be paid in cash on the day of pick up. We do not allow our puppies to leave until the remaining balance has been paid. 

That said, we do offer a payment plan option for future families. This payment plan can be set up on a weekly or monthly basis depending on your preference and potential pick up date of your new puppy. To take advantage of this offer, we ask that you contact us directly to discuss details. 

Our puppies are sold with a strict spay/neuter contract. If you are a breeder and are interested in purchasing a puppy from our program with breeding rights, please contact us to discuss further, as these are done on a case by case basis.
